In a multi-disciplinary framework, WP3 addresses the analysis and modelling of multi-vulnerabilities of physical, socio-economic, health and environmental systems with respect to complex and emerging risks. After the definition of multi-risk scenarios for urban and metropolitan areas, considering cascading and compounding effects, the WP3 aims at the vulnerability assessment of urban assets at a variable scale, e.g.: district, urban or metropolitan level, or considering single entities or components of the urban environment and how they are inserted and interact in the urban context. WP3 will also develop a multi-hazard risk/impact modelling with harmonized metrics and indicators for monitoring and forecasting.
